These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of shipping, freight forwarding, storage, and related logistics services by [Company Name] (“the Company”) to its customers (“Customer”).
By engaging our services, submitting a package, opening an account, or using our website, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms in accordance with the laws of Jamaica.

Customer – Any individual or entity utilizing the Company’s services
Goods – Parcels, cargo, freight, or items tendered for shipment
Charges – Shipping fees, customs duties, taxes, storage fees, penalties, and related costs
The Company provides freight forwarding, customs brokerage facilitation, storage, and delivery coordination services.
Delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
4.1 Customers will be notified when Goods are available for collection or scheduled delivery.
4.2 The Customer must:
Provide accurate contact information
Present valid identification upon collection
Respond promptly to delivery arrangements
4.3 A redelivery fee may apply where delivery attempts fail due to incorrect address, absence, or refusal.
5.1 Goods not collected or delivered due to Customer neglect, failure to respond, refusal, or incorrect information will be stored at the Customer’s sole risk.
5.2 A storage fee will apply after fourteen (14) calendar days from the date the Customer is notified that the Goods are available for collection.
5.3 If Goods remain uncollected for thirty (30) calendar days, the Company reserves the legal right to:
Exercise a lien over the Goods
Sell, auction, or dispose of the Goods
Apply sale proceeds toward outstanding shipping charges, customs duties, storage fees, and administrative costs
5.4 Any remaining balance after settlement of outstanding amounts may be claimed within ninety (90) days. After this period, any unclaimed balance shall be forfeited.
The Company retains a general and particular lien over all Goods in its possession for unpaid Charges.
The Customer agrees not to ship any items prohibited under Jamaican law, including but not limited to:
Illegal narcotics or controlled substances
Firearms or ammunition without lawful permits
Explosives or hazardous materials
Counterfeit goods
Stolen property
Any item restricted by the Jamaica Customs Agency
The Company reserves the right to inspect any shipment and report suspicious or illegal items to the relevant authorities.
8.1 The Customer is solely responsible for:
Accurate declaration of Goods
Payment of customs duties, GCT, and applicable taxes
Compliance with regulations of the Jamaica Customs Agency
8.2 The Company is not liable for fines, penalties, seizures, or delays resulting from inaccurate declarations.
9.1 The Company’s liability for loss or damage shall be limited to the lesser of:
The declared value of the Goods; or
JMD $20,000 per shipment
9.2 The Company shall not be liable for:
Consequential or indirect losses
Loss of profits or business interruption
Damage due to inadequate packaging
Electrical or internal damage to electronics
Perishable goods deterioration
9.3 Customers are strongly advised to purchase cargo insurance for high-value shipments.
Optional shipment insurance may be purchased at an additional cost. Where insurance is not purchased, compensation will be limited as outlined in Clause 9.
11.1 Claims must be submitted in writing:
Within 48 hours for visible damage
Within 7 days for missing or concealed damage
11.2 Claims must include:
Proof of shipment
Proof of value (receipt/invoice)
Photographic evidence (where applicable)
Failure to comply with these timelines may result in denial of claim.
12.1 All Charges must be paid in full prior to release or delivery of Goods.
12.2 The Company reserves the right to refuse release of Goods where payment remains outstanding.
12.3 Corporate account customers must comply with agreed credit terms. Late payments may attract interest and administrative fees.
The Company collects and processes personal data strictly for shipping, regulatory, and operational purposes in accordance with Jamaica’s Data Protection Act.
The Company shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including:
Natural disasters
Industrial strikes
Government restrictions
Port congestion
Airline disruptions
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Jamaica and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica.
